iMethods is currently seeking an experienced Assistant IT Project Technician for a full time permanent position with one of our hospital clients in Jacksonville, FL.
General Description:
Under the direction of the Project Technician and the Network Manager, the Assistant IT Project Technician is responsible for voice and data cable installs. Candidate should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Responsible for Communications Closet management, project support, and certification of network cables. Assists with user support and needs assessment related to voice and data needs.
Required Experience & Education:
· High school diploma required. Associate's degree or two years specialized training in an applicable field preferred.
· One to two years telecommunications/computer systems/network systems required.
· Electrical, Infrastructure installation experience preferred
· Must be able to repair cabling issues
